About the Journal
Mumtaz: Jurnal Studi Al-Qur'an dan Keislamanis a peer-reviewed international journal published biannually by Postgraduate Studies (Pascasarjana) Universitas PTIQ Jakarta, Indonesia. It aims to promote and disseminate scholarly publication on Islam and Muslim civilization from scholars around the world covering textual, historical and empirical dimensions, both classical/medieval, modern and contemporary periods in the Muslim World. This journal applies an interdisciplinary approach to the following topics: (1) the Qur’an and Hadith Studies; (2) Islamic History and Culture; (3) Islamic Theology; (4) Islamic Philosophy; (5) Islamic Mysticism; (6) Islamic Politics; (7) Islamic Law; and (8) Islamic Communication.
